2nd Generation Ipods.

Does anyone have one of these? They are really cheap on ebay, and are basically the same thing except the buttons and there are no games.

Were there any flaws with them? IE: screens not working, buttons breaking, etc.

i used to hav one, it was a demo version though. the only problem i had with it was the battery life. went down to like 4 hrs after half a year.

no they are definatly fatter. i've compared mine to a 2nd gen.

if your batteries are bad, you can new ones for like 30 bucks. and they have alot longer life.

their fatter heavier the buttons look ugly, the battery life will probably be totally destroyed since your buying it second hand (you can get new one for like 30 bucks as someone said above) you will have a smaller harddrive than the new ones

and most importantly you wont be able to show it off which is the main reason to get an ipod hte coolness factor.

ehhh just go all out and spend $360.00 on a 40 gig 4th gen. like me, couple weeeks at workll cover it, its worth it.



i got 9.8 days of music so far

Couple weeks at work? I could pay for it in like.... a week I guess.
That's still alot of wasted money on an ipod.
I'd rather pay $130 on a 3rd gen ipod.

i have one, its perfectly fine, yea the scroll is different, it is a little shorter than the new ones but it is fatter

if you get one, make sure to get a protective case because they do not have rounded edges
