foolmetwiceSame here. Its crazy to have something thats been such a huge part of your life end so abruptly. Going from 3-5 soccer practices a week from like 6th grade until the start of this yr (senior yr) to playing pickup with the homies every once in a while is fucked. Of course now that ive commited to a college without soccer ive gotten a few emails from d3 coaches but I guess thats just the way it goes.
I feel ya, not having any practices and games this past fall was wicked weird. And if you're able to get playing at the collegiate level, I'd say just go for it. You only get to do it once, and it's a really cool experience. If you already committed and aren't able to back out then I understand, but if you're getting offers from places that interest you and you're somehow able to make a change, I'd go for it. If you decide you don't like it you can always stop, but once the opportunity is gone, it's gone.
