NS what are your biggest regrets?

Mine would would probably be wussing out of situations for no good reason such as peer pressure. I mean getting udon, was not a good exchange for rice.

Or not trying hard enough, and procrastinating like what I'm doing right now.

Can't really say I have any big ones, but hopefully I can prevent ones in the future.

One time when i was like 12 my mom paid for me to have a full massage while we were at this resort but i gave the massage to my cousin because i thought it was weird. I wish i just took the massage lol.

I used to be very shy... like the ignorant, disrespectful type of shy. That was when I was 10-16 years old, which is when most people make a lot of friends. I feel like I burned a lot of bridges and missed out on great opportunities.

Now I'm almost 18 and I have gone through high school without any really close friends and I almost never ski with other people. I think this has caused a lot of stress throughout my teenage years and it has caused me to say some stupid things, and I continue to burn bridges. It fucking sucks, man. I wish I broke out of my shell when I was younger. I'm a lot more fun and caring than most people think.

Not studying regularly and losing concentration too easily when I start doing it. Eventually I just end up studying everything for like a week or so before an exam and get really angry to myself when I see the big progression I made for such a short time. I can't imagine the results if I studied regularly...

Not really starting to ski until I moved to CO from Wisco. I missed out on such a cool scene in the midwest that I didn't discover till now, and now I'm spoiled with snow and big mountains.

not completely giving 100% to playing college soccer. i'm not saying i didn't try to play my best, but i think if i put more into it than i did then i'd still be playing, especially since i learned so much in just one year. i felt like i could've kept growing to become a really good player...but now competitive soccer is over for me. but, i suppose you need to keep moving forward, everything happens for a reason

Same here. Its crazy to have something thats been such a huge part of your life end so abruptly. Going from 3-5 soccer practices a week from like 6th grade until the start of this yr (senior yr) to playing pickup with the homies every once in a while is fucked. Of course now that ive commited to a college without soccer ive gotten a few emails from d3 coaches but I guess thats just the way it goes.

I didn't "break out of my shell" until I was 19-20. I really regretted making the same decisions as you until I turned 20, and really gained a new perspective on life. Most of the friends you make in the years 10-18 are fake and won't really be there for you later in life. Think of it like you just saved yourself a ton of trouble by never having those superficial relationships in the first place. But first and foremost, stop selling yourself short brotha.

I feel ya, not having any practices and games this past fall was wicked weird. And if you're able to get playing at the collegiate level, I'd say just go for it. You only get to do it once, and it's a really cool experience. If you already committed and aren't able to back out then I understand, but if you're getting offers from places that interest you and you're somehow able to make a change, I'd go for it. If you decide you don't like it you can always stop, but once the opportunity is gone, it's gone.

I came here to say this second part, from the other perspective. I had a lot of really tight friends that I stopped talking to when I was 17Ish. missed a lot of opportunities afterwards, I'm almost 20 now and I'm not complaining. You'll be amazed at who's there for you when you're older as well.

I have also always been very shy.

Not doing a backflip this year, or really pushing myself that much because it was my last real ski season for alittle while.

Not being in better shape because I'm too lazy. Started going to the gym tho with some friends.

Not studying super hard in school so far which has led to some declining grades.

Not taking my religion as seriously as I should.

I didn't come out of my shell until I was almost 19. But life has been fantastic since then!
