THEDIRTYBUBBLEThe plastic on the end of a shoe lace is called an aglet
CahalThis is true. I learned that from phineas and ferb
THEDIRTYBUBBLEDid anyone not learn it from Phineas and Ferb
J-yoyea, I've got a pretty realistic outlook on getting a job up there (super slim chances) haha. hoping either way to make it to hood in june, as public park should be extra spicy with all this snow.
Lieutenant_DanHaven't heard anything either and I have still lots of hope. I already am local so no matter what you boys will see me around the public lane taking laps with the boys in town.
J-yoWhen I get the get the "ya didn't make the cut" call, I'll start planning the week long camping trip. To whoever reads this thread, if you did apply, what positions did you apply for?

WindellsHey guys, as you can imagine we receive TONS of
applications every year
and we are still reviewing them as we speak. Call's and
email's regarding
possible summer employment should start to go out from anywhere in a
few weeks to a
month. Remember, patience is the key.

MinggHeard back and interviewed for the Office Assistant one, but haven't heard back for the other two.
Saga. You may think it's annoying but be persistent. Several of the current Saga employees were former Windells employees and we all got our jobs by calling them back several times or showing up as often as we could.
skiermanAnd after working there, they all regretted it.
Saga. However if you treat it as an actual job, which you should, you will learn a lot, have more fun, and come out 100% less jaded than most of the rest.the exact reason I worked the rope tow for tline the last 3 summers on upper windells it was a shit ton of work to keep the tows going but I met good contacts had a fucking blast when I wasn't working and got to shred the sessions. Favorite memory would be being in the group of first skiers to get to session high cascades super pipe the looks on all the boarders faces when we came ripping through was priceless took them a few days to realize we weren't being dicks and were allowed in.
Saga.True.
skiermanYeah, I know.
Saga.We use child labor to manufacturer our products. Donald Trump for president!
skiermanI don't see how that's relevant... but OK...
J-yoAnyone else hear back yet? Still no email/phone call for this sad little boy.
Crispy.Same here...don't know if I should be losing hope or what.

Crispy.Any word guys? Hate to be pushy, but it'd be nice to know for sure I didn't get the job so I could plan my summer elsewhere. If we haven't heard back, is it a safe assumption we weren't hired?
Thanks
Ethan

skiermanhahaha, you're asking Saga for an update on your job application to Windells... Yeah you're an idiot. You're not getting the job.

J-yoAny progress? Still haven't heard anything yet.
skiermanPM OR CALL THEM YOU FUCKING MORON!
J-yoCalled their office multiple times and they said they don't give out the hiring managers contact info. Has anyone gotten a call/email back yet?
Crispy. They told me they'd be hiring all the way up to summer (because lazy hiring managers) which IMO is bullshit
Crispy.Just got an email last night that I can be on kitchen staff this summer if I want to. Now I've got a big decision to make. I would have said yes in a heartbeat 2 months ago, but with my summer commitments it makes this hard.
Swandog7Lol heard from Woodward almost 2 weeks ago. I got the job :)
Crispy.Does anyone know about how many hours per week I'd be working if I took this job? I will obviously talk to them about it but just for making a preliminary decision:-)
Crispy. So I'm officially on board with kitchen staff? Who else is working out there this summer? Any things I should bring that I might not think about?
