Yeah, so the temps over here in Spain dropped to minus 20 in nthe mountains, 2 days, 85 centimeters, the forecast is calling for low tmps and heavy snow for this weekend, base is already at 210 cms, Italy is also at really low temps, same with france, bulgary, germany....This cold snap is the worse one in 20 years. We have a cold front coming from Iceland and another one coming from Siberia (this one is pretty dry)and oh well, tons of snow! Winds, tho, are blowing at about 120 kms hours at mountain peaks,so the snow might be a bit gone...the windchill is actually at minus 35! This is awesome...

We got a bit of the same going on here in Finland. Less snow and a bit warmer though. But it's sweet nonetheless. Actually it's snowing as I type.

I just saw the images on the news, and oh man....u can't see the cars,the streets are beneath 2 feet of snow, and the hill is just gonna get buried, it will snow until sunday! And on friday i'll be there....but it's the second day they're closed.

I don't know if it's possible, but i don't think it's the same one. I think yours moved south, and ours is newer, at least the polar one (which is the one which brings us snow!)

Ahh, yeah. Sorry, I forgot the '-'. Good that the misconception was cleared though. This January has been fucking abnormal here in finland. Normally it would be the coldest month of the year, but in the beginning of the month we had over a week of shit raining from the sky. It was shitty.

The storm is finally receading. We had 90 cms overnight last nite, but I can't go skiing. it's fucking incredible the base is almost at 3 meters, and I'm stuck in this shitty ass city.
total amount of snow in 5 days is about 100-180cms of new snow. It's sick this is happening in Spain...just sick.
