ok, here's the deal. my cousin (anewmorning), gave me a pair of pocket rockets in the middle of last season so i could take the bindings off of them to put on a new set planks that i had bought. one of the pocket rockets was completely destroyed underfoot. it was well beyond repair, and there is no way it could be skied again. the other ski was in decent shape. i took the bindings off and have used them on my PE's ever since. the pocket rockets sat in my garage, then, since they were not usable. my cousin never acted like he wanted them back, and i just never did anything with them, they just sat there. then, in the summer, a guy from canada was asking around this site if anyone had one working pocket rocket, because he had destroyed one of the skis in his pair. i made a deal with him, thinking that i might as well help him out since i had one working pocket rocket that he was willing to buy. he paid me like 100 bones for the ski and shipping, which ended up being like 40 or something, so i profited 60. two weeks ago, my cousin comes up to me and says he wants his skis back, i dunno why, he said it wasn't that he could use them, but just that he wanted them back. i tell him what i did, and how i figured that since he just left them in my garage for about eight months, and said they were worthless, and never acted like he wanted them back, i sold one. he promptly decided i owed him 100 dollars, since that is what was paid to me, even though he knew it took 40 to ship so i made only 60. anyways, we have worked out a deal where i'm gonna get some editing software to him and we'll call it even, but i just want to hear what you all think about his logic, that i owed him 100 dollars. i didn't really feel like i owed him anything, but what do you say?
