my advise is ride around switch constantly untill you are comfy with it. then hit jumps switch and it will be easier

just pratice a lot. biggest problem i had when i was starting out was i would get real impatient and try to pop too early. that would make my tips catrch on the lip, and yes that sucks. also take off in a centered stance. not back on your heels and not forward on your toes.

so just be patient. but also make sure you give some pop. the biggest thing is just practice

^yeah i definitely had, and still sometimes have the problem of popping too early too...you for sure have to wait until your tails are just slightly over the lip..or something

definitly gotta be patient... as was said earlier... when i was learning i always popped too early and my tips caught. you have to wait until the lip is under your feet. my advise is take a really wide stance so your low to the ground and you have a good view of the ground/lip and also whats coming up behind you. when you see/feel the lip, jump.
