i just wanted to prop a few kids who are pretty much not known, kids with maybe small shots in mags or an occasional video shot, but who are overlooked, and may truley be some of the best skiers in the scene today.

anyone can feel free to add to my list, but i would prefer to here some educated answers rather than dumbasses talking up there friends.

these kids deserve the utmost respect in the skiing community, and for the most part havent earned a great deal of recognition, maybe low level sponsorships, and small movie segments, but no major contracts or the things that they deserve for there day in and day out skiing efforts. these kids are sick as fuck, and deserve not only mad props but also travel budgets, salarys, and fame.

there is a reason why its tough to get sponsorship in the ski industry , like look at skating, there is a shop in every city that has a team, and thats where people start off, then there are unlimited other companies to choose from to progress in your sponsorship, skiing doesnt have all that so its kind of tough for all these unknown people to make a name for themselves

fuck yes, jon cyrulik probably the ebst skier i have ever seen ski (on the spot). he threw d-9 tails, switch corked 10 japans, flatty 5's, switch flatty 5's and a whole lot more when i rode with him one day. also, 270 japan onto a rail with unnatural grind

I'll second (or third or fourth) Ben Grunow and Scott Hibbert even though he got a fair amount of attention this year. Word from the streets is that a kid on this site from my town in CT just got hooked up by Line and Siver Cartel. We'll see what happens with that.

most of the Aussies dont get recognition, most famous would probaby be dave 'gravy' keam. so many people rip it up down here and get almost no recognition overseas. you should all watch out for Chris booth though, he is gonna blow all away

Dave Keam was in Freeskier in Plake's Picks like 2 years ago. But I haven't heard a damn thing about him since. All I remember from the article is that if he was president he would legalize pot.
