cab 10s should always score higher than cab 12s. landing switch is way harder than landing forward in judging terms, and 1080 is where i draw the line unless the kicker is huge, which it wasnt. 1260s are just too hucked.

^bullshit. Spriggs's switch 1260 was not hucked at all and he did get screwed. Clean, big, and stylie. Judges gave Henrik and Tanner an 80 and 78 respectively after average switch 10's with no grab and Spriggs got a 61. It was shit. That jump was fine for a 12. It was quite large.

Ok, let's see if I got this right, Freestyle aerials is super gay because they all do the same tricks with the same style and there is no 'progression'. And Mike Wilsons tricks are super gay because.... he DIDN'T do the same trick as everyone else (cab 10 grab).

Give the guy a break, he tried something that nobody else did, isn't that kind of how newschool started in the first place? Watching 20 people doing full double full full can be pretty repetitive....so can watching 20 people do a switch 1080 even if it is a sick trick.

Maybe Wilson's weren't the 'styliest' tricks ever, but does anyone remember Cusson's switch 720 that won the first X-Games big air? No one called him gay, they actually appreciated seeing someone do something different, and that's all Wilson is trying to do.

I appreciated the variety that he brought to the event. I don't think he should have won or anything, but he doesn't deserve the harsh comments you guys are throwing at him.

Skiing's at a point where it's way too hard to judge...you have to consider style which is undefinable, then try to draw the line between spins - what isn't hucked but is still hard, what grabs they did, and what way they spun in relation to their natural way.
