Eggs jerusalem: one of my favorite breakfast recipes kinda like eggs benedict but better
For one serving you will need:
-one english muffin,
-2 slices of precooked ham(if you cant find round sclices you can usually buy a single big slice and cut it so if fits on the english muffin
-2 eggs
-bout 2 tblspns vinegar
-sliced mushrooms, bout 3-4 mushrooms
-can of quarted artichoke hearts
-sliced olives
-either salt'n'spice or montreal steak seasoning(i like the steak one)
-shredded parmesan(not grated kind that comes in the tube) you can buy it in a plastic container or you can buy a block of parmesan and shred it yourself(preferred method)
-pint of heavy cream(found next milk products)
1. toast the english muffin
2. put the ham on a pan and heat it up till it starts to brown then put on top of sliced toasted english muffins
3. take the amount of mushrooms, olives and artichoke hearts you want and put in a pan on the stove on med-hi to hi and immediately add the heavy cream, not too much or it will be extra runny, id say 1 to 1 1/2 cups
4. spring on the seasoning and some parmesan cheese.
5. DO NOT STIR the cream will begin to bubble up but there is no need to stir. you want to see the parmesan disapear and melt and after about 4-5 minutes
6. then stir it up, take off stove and scoop over top of ham and english muffins. scoop the veggies first then pour over top however much sauce you want.
7. garnish my sprinkling more shredded parmesan ovr top.
sorry i dont use exact measurements but i never do when i cook, i cook so much that I just eye it
i have so many more, mostly gourmet type(love gourmet and fine food cooking) and ill post when i got time

^i forgot the poached egg part above. fill a pot with water about 3-4 inches high and bring just close to a boil and add vinegar. put each egg in separate mugs. slowly put the mug into the water allowing water to slowly fill the mug but keeping the egg in there. then once water has surrounded the egg let the egg slowly pour out into the pot(this prevents the egg yolk from becoming all stringy, you will see what i mean) after bout 1-2 mintues use a ladle or large spoon with holes in it to lift the egg out and drain the water and put on top of the ham then the sauce goes on top of that my bad
