Replying to snow camping.

On Friday night I went winter camping with 4 freinds. It was about -25 with a wind chill. We were way under prepared. We hiked in a state park up over a series of hills to a sick lookout point. (about 8 miles in) then we set up camp in the dark. After we got set up we started drinking. After we drank we were runnign around the woods in the dark. I slept in a skimpy tent, It was like one of those tents you see on the beach. It let alot of cold air in and sucked. I slept in everything I wore so when I got up and out of the tent in the mornign I was freezing. That was the worst part. I noticed my toes and fingers went into the first stages of frost bite. and I was wearing layers. This other kid we went with didn't even have gloves. anyone else go camping this time of year?
