Camera Angles

We all know that a good camera angle can make a small trick look good if it's a good angle, or a big jump look small if it's a bad angle. What recommendations do you have as far as camera angles go? I've heard that, if you're filming a kicker, standing either below the landing or next to the kicker itself gives the best angles, because if you film from the landing it doesn't look so big. Any other advice? I'm somewhat new to filming.

Experiment. Don't ask for advice, that's fucking lame. Try to stray from what you see in movies, don't follow someone else's formula, unless you really love it. You really just can't say 'go film there, it looks nice, i think'.

Wide angle lenses can help making tricks look bigger if properly used.

from next tot the lip filming them go away form the camera makes shit looks big, and make sure you always keep the camera as low as possible. And since I hope you are really hitting a big jump then if you film people goin over you from under the lip it wil give the air justice or straight from the side with a the camera low and sky for a back ground, also if you move you camera alot, i.e. have someone ski holding it along side the rider or kind rotate around someone on a rail it looks way more proffesionally dun.
