How soft are revision talismans?

considering buying these this summer if I make some money, but would like to know how they ski. I already have a pair of line blends which are very similar, however the blends are so soft I tend to fold them over in butters and just slip out. Are the revisions any different or more stable in butters?

for reference I am 5'10" and 125 lbs, my blends are 185 and I would likely be buying 182 revisions.

i havent touched a pair of blends in years, though i do know they were way too soft

i have first run talismans. i do love them, but they are soft.. i always tell people if they were stiffer theyd be my ideal park/resort ski

what other skis do you know of that i could compare them to? i have a couple pairs of armadas and a pair of volkl katanas at my house i could compare them to in a video if you want. if so, private message me on here for my phone number-- also that way you can ask me questions as much as you want without an annoying back and forth in a forum thread haha

most of my skis are lines so the only other ones I could compare to are the chronics and afterbangs. The afterbangs were like perfect flex wise but the weight kind of blows and then the chronics are too short and they've just been sitting in my room since before I knew how to butter

how you you describe the softness? do they just sort of fold or do they kind have some dampeness/spring/push back to them?

The Talismans break in to be a softer ski than what they are at first. I rode them all season, and they are still a stable park ski and very stable for butters even after a season of flexing them hard. In my experience, they are very hard to fold over in a butter. You'll love them if thats what you wind up going with. The new line drops in August, and I'm not sure if the design has changed at all, but this years were incredible

They are soft but not as soft as blends. They are bit stiffer from tails than tips. I really like to butter with them and i dont think they are too soft

idk how they compare to afterbangs in stiffness but theyre generally a much better ski, that's for sure

i havent touched a chronic in years but id imagine the talismans are def softer than those

but yeah the talismans are soft but have a good feel to them and def push back. if they were just noodles id hate them. nollying, manualling, etc theyre great for. but they also hold up pretty damn well in all mtn riding-- i skied them at resorts all year and on a pow day with plenty of cliff drops and rough landings, they don't just fold on you
