Looking for a Park ski

Hey guys

Im Looking for a park ski, I will use the ski as a primary park ski, I only use the slopes to get to the park and back to the chairlift. Im looking for a ski which is easy to butter, got a low swingweight and still got my back on landings (in terms of washing out).
As I already said, it should be possible too, to drive the ski at the slope (it doesn´t have to be the pistekiller of doom obviously)

My park riding style:

I like to do Nose/Tailbutters and hit jumps and rails/boxes too.
Im 1,84cm and my weight is around 143pounds.


Skis I looked at:

- Armada Edollo (I read, that they aren´t good for throwing bigger tricks of bigger jumps)
- Line Chronic (At 1st the recommended mounting point, -4, seems strange to me and 2nd Im scared that the ski is to stiff for easy butters/presses)
- Armada Bdog (Wheres the difference to the Edollo?)
- Atomic Punx (Same thought as on the Line Chronic)
- Line Twallisch Model releasing 2017 (any one knows/got an idea of how they will be?)

I used Armada B dogs all season and they were great skis. They were fine for buttering and I had no edge cracks at all. The difference between them and the Edollo's is that they aren't as wide, and are less soft. Near the end of the season I switched to a pair of volkl walls simply because I like a super stiff cambered ski for big jumps. I'd also like to add that the B Dog's have a shorter turn radius than the typical park ski, but over all, The B Dogs are a super fun park ski for jibbing anything. Also, I mounted mine .5cm behind center, even though 2.5 is recommended. Hope this helps and PM me if you have any further questions.

Thanks alot, I watched a video where an Armada guy says, that the flex of the 2017 Bdog is almost the same as the Edollo except that they took down the width of the waist a bit..

Is it true that Edollo and Bdog got extruded base? What are the down sights of extruded bases?

Filthy riches are great for butters tip and tail their isn't really much to say bad about them, but some people I know have delam problems with them

Right now I got the 2015 Head Caddy, and they seem kinda stiff / not good for buttering

Skis I got my eyes on right now:

- ON3P Filthy Rich (kinda expensive)
- Armada Edollo (whats about them washing out on tip heavy switch landings?)
- Head Framewall (are they softer than Caddy's?)
- K2 Sight / K2 Domain
- Armada Bdog
- Line Chronic (maybe too stiff? where to mount the binding?)
- Atomic Punx

Another ski to check out would be the Moment Frankenski.

I ski it daily through the park and it handles butters and rails and such without a problem. While they are on the flexier side, they handle big jumps without trouble.

Just another ski to check out if you're looking for a park specific ski.

Personally i love armada pipe cleaners and rossignol slats both are very versatile and fun. For what your describind give the slats a peep.

chronics would be softer than the edollo and bdogs. I would put them as a medium stiffness, they aren't noodles but they aren't that stiff.

I have mine at true centre, and would recommend that if you get the chronics. I wouldn't go past -2 as you say you only ski park so there's no point.

The skis im looking onto right now are:

- Line Chronic
- Faction Candide 1.0 (I suppose they are the stiffest of all of my candidates)
- Faction Candide 2.0
- Icelantic DaNollie (Kinda hard to get them here in Switzerland)

Since I didnt find an online shop which sells the DaNollie in Switzerland, theres atm only the Chronic, Candide 1.0, Candide 2.0 left. Can someone maybe compare them to each other, who maybe rode them, or just knows much about them?

As far as I know, the Candide 2.0 is much wider than the other 2. Meaning it would be better for allmountain (What I dont want to do with the skis, because I got Line Mordecais for that :D)

The Head Framewall is a stiffer ski than the Caddy.

Definitely 178 for sure. You'll be fine with the Chronics for buttering, it really depends on the fit of your boot tbh. The better the fit of your boot means that you will be able to butter better.

Actually, I decided for the next year models, not sure if I shall wait for the new Chronic or if I should go for the new TW Pro Model..

I guess I have to wait till fall then...

New Chronics are also looking much sicker than this years one tbh..

I got some Full Tillts which fit very thight, so that shouldn't be an issue :)
