Replying to Liberty Stealth Review
There been alot of talk about Liberty and there skis, and today was the first day i managed to get out on my Liberty Stealth's, mounted at cab forward stance (around 2.5 cm behind center) and im 6 feet 155lbs.
we got 25cm of fresh, and i managed to get a ride to the hill.
First off
Weight: These skis are light, i have them mounted with p12 jibs and it felt like i could pop a 3 off just about anything. Having them mounted at cab forward gives you a sweet swing wieght, your super balanced in the air.
Flex: Meduim-soft i found. These skis have alot of camber so they ski with alot of energy. the softer and wider tip profile did wonders floating me in fresh snow. And for people not beleiving the soft enough to buteer/ stiff enough they won;t chatter at high speeds, i was impressed. i could butter no problem, and going as fast a coupld, minimal chatter. i was impressed.
Groomers: 21m turning radius i beleive, great edge hold and with the meduim flex it's an ease arching those turns.
Steep/Pow: Great float, with a good allround ski dimensions, in the bumps and fresh snow, i can only explain it by telling you these skis are really 'energtic'. They rip everywhere.
Park: Lots of ollie power, i could carve switch almost as good as i could forward, and feel soo stable. Downright dope.
The only problems i ran into is that im not used to being so close to center and having so much ski behind me. so it took me a while to get used to it. mostly the feeling when really carving hard and release edge to edge, and when skiing really agressive in the steeps i found i got a little ahead of the ski and the tips would dive due to being close to ceneter mount. But that's mainly my skiing too, and i'll get used to them. (my last skis were 177 1080), abuse wise, the usual scratching and what not, nothing im concerned about.
I def recommend them, i would say classify them as a DOPE park ski, that can handle the rest of the mountain. I guess that's pretty much it, if you have any questions feel free to msg me. peace.
