ok i was thinking about getting my gf some roses and a teddy bear for valentines day, and i was wondering how expensive a dozen roses is? i was thinking about 6 white and 6 red but i dunno yet

Dude, this is a super idea and I did it with my gf last year, so read this man:-

Figure out how long you've been going out, and get her the following color of roses
YEARS=Yellow
MONTHS=White
DAYS=Red
So if you've been going out for a year, 2 months, and 3 days, get her 1 yellow rose, 2 white roses, and 3 red ones. And tell her what each color means and how you thought of that, and she'll love it man. Trust me.

(you can change around the colors too if ya want)

It's all about the peach roses: desire. I've never bought red ones because I've never been in love. Yellow roses (friendship) are only good if she already understands that you're in love and you're trying to tell her that beyond love, the friendship you have is also important. All that being said, DO NOT buy flowers on Valenties day. It's a fuckin' waste of money. I bet she'd appreciate it more if you just took her out to dinner (and maybe got her ONE rose), and got her a full bouquet on some random and meaningless day. It'll get you laid for sure and you'll save some mad $$

K, so im breaking one of my rules, which is revealing my sex/love life on NS, but i thought i had to contribute to this one.


This is what I did for my girlfriend this weekend, you can steal and reuse any of it if you want.

So, first, she works at a pizza place. I have come in a few times before with two coffees or hot chocolates so that we can hang out a little while shes stuck at work. Anyways, last friday, for her monthly birthday (we celebrate ours every month, its fun, trust me) I walked into the store with a two apple ciders, one in each hand, and a rose in my teeth. The kitchen staff was really cool about it and let her clock out right then and there (bonus points). Then, when she went out to her car, she found the hood covered in more roses, and me holding a proper boquet (bonus bonus points). Roses WORK. Just get extravagant and inventive.

Because roses on Valenties day are stupid expensive. Diner on Valentines day cost the same as any other day.
