I cant imagine how it will be when im 60+ cause right now when I see a handrail im thinkin 'this would be sick for a night session' or 'i wonder if i could build an inrun up to it.' But in 50 years or whatever are we gona forget about all that? Am i gona look at a handrail and think 'better hold on tight' ? Cause if you try to explain to your grandparents about sliding a rail theyre obviously not gona have any idea what the fuck your talking about or why but if freeskiing still exists are we gona still remeber and be able to say to our grandchildren 'son i remember when i your age, i tried to slide that rail switch unnatty and ate shit trying blideside 270 off'? It's kinda weird to think about.

damn in 50 years i'll be 73. I'll probably have had lots of surgerys on my knees and other joints. I'm sure i'll have arthritis. It's kinda depressing when you realize that your like is over a quarter used up already.

yeah i was thinking about this the other day, and i thought yeah i'll probably be in a wheel chair with arthritis and shit. but then, i was like naaah i'll still be kickin the worlds ass. and thats how i hope it is i wanna be skiing and doin fun stuff up til the day i die, granted i might be in a wheel chair, BUT i will know that i have done all that i could do, and that satisfies me.

in 50 years, medical knowledge will have progressed so far that we wont be just about dead by then and they will hopefully have all kinds of reconstructive surgery so we can still ski. thats the optomistic way of looking at it
