first time urban tomorrow

theres this 10 stair that me and a friend have been scoping since fall. finally ready to try it. its supposed to dump 6 inches tomorrow on top of the 3 that we already have. any tips for first time? its a metal hand rail. should we pole pull for speed? and whats teh best way to get on? best time to go to avoid cops?

get a fair amount of speed. this could mean building a drop in, skating in, or pole whipping. if you have enough speed, the chances are very slim that you will fall on the stairs since there are only 10. just give'r dude!

Don't worry about cops... they should not be too bad for just skiing it.
If its a 10 stair, just start by tapping it and maybe even jumping over the rail.
It will naturally progress from there.

ya, if youre scared, just tap it the first time and you can slowly work ur way up. pole whipping should be your last resort, its no fun to be whipped onto a rail from a few feet away. you shouldnt have to worry about cops

if it's sketchy at all i would wear a helmet cause even though it doesnt seem dangerous, you can get fucked doin urban a lot much worse then park sometimes.

yea try to avoid pole whips. they are often out of control and you usually mess it up. You just have to get over that first time trying it and then you should be alright.
