Anybody know anything bout water ramping in lake placid?

yeah, i wanna know if any of you know like, a lot about it. Like the cost for how many hours or days, ages, HOW TO book a day for water ramping, etc... any info would be greatly appreciated, cuz i really wanna go. yeah.

i dont know much about the lake placid ramps but it is way harder to spin o ramps then snow and hurts when you land funny

where i went (red deer) they had three a triple, a double - atleast i think thats what theyre called and then the smallest one had two diff jumps a kicker which was really steep and a floater which was similar to a normal big airjump

I've ramped in Placid for like 4 years now...if you want to train with camps, there are a bunch there all the time. One website is freestyleamerica.com..and from there you can choose Placid training. but i dont personally think the $ is worth it for one day. you need to go like a week or something. id say more than a week. it takes a while to get used to the ramps, and the jump you'll be hitting is also used for aerials, and can only be used for freeride if the top is taken off of it, which only happens in the afternoons...and it's really crowded. But if you can't get in touch with someone by the website i gave you, try calling the OTC..Olympic Training Cenetr, they're in charge of all the programs in Placid. did that help at all?

yeah i went last summer, it was awesome.. dont remember how we got in (i didn torganize) but it was like 110 for saturday and sunday with a trainer. they have the most kickass flybeds and one wicked cool tramp there i learned so much on those.. cept im too scared to throw em on snow ;)
