I'm turning 18 next week, and that is the legal drinking age in Australia. I would love to know what everyone's fave cocktails are so I can get more of an idea of what to try. Believe me, theres quite a few on the list already, but I need variety here!!!!

Beer licks balls. Hmmm, I know you quite well Sar and in my opinion you'll like these:

White Russian (Kalua, Vodka, Milk & Ice) - A nice thick, creamy tasting drink, cold and with a slight bite to the throat, very nice.

Sex with an Aligator (Equal parts Midori, Malibu & Pinapple juice, and a bit of Chambord but don't drink it until it sinks to the bottom of the glass) - Pretty tasty, smooth and creamy but also with a quick slashing bite at the end, worth it though, don't have too many of them!! Else you'll wake up thinking 'Eh? what'd I do last night?'

Ummm yeah, just look at the list and pick out what you might like. Steer away from Tequilla!! And do a backdraft!!! They set it on fire and stuff and it's cool, haha.

fireball is the shit. Straight up it rules, but mixing it with cranberry juice is great too.

Stick to the basics, rum or rye and coke, vodka 7s and cranberry's. Good shyte. An aussie taught me how to make a surfer, and they're pretty good too. 1.5 shots of malibu, .5 shot of jagermeister and pinapple juice. Great summer drink. Oh, and if you can find some ki ki (key lime cream liqueur), mix it with some orange pop and it tastes just like an orange creamsicle.

www.barnondrinks.com is the best place i've found for drinks...7000 recipes, and you can search based on what kind of alcohol you have.

hmm, for shots, try citron vodka, you have to try a tequila, but get a lemon and salt, trust me
for drinks beer sucks because its..well just beer..i like corona though, put a lemon in the neck of the bottle and turn it upside down a few times with ur thumb over the top to mix it in. for drinks try kalua mudslides, skyy blue, smirnoff..you might not like that though

ok this is what I tried yesterday.. try it!!
YOu need:
1 watermelon (the smaller it is, the less you have to eat)
1 flask of Grain Alcohol (198 proof, or 99% alcohol), I used vodka-sprite mix
1 small knife

Ok, this is really simple. Get your flask of grain alcohol. Measure how wide the mouth of the bottle is. Then, take the knife, and cut a hole in the side of the watermelon (make it a bit smaller than the mouth of the bottle to prevent leakage..also make sure it is pretty much ROUND). Take the cap off the flask, and jam it in to the hole in the watermelon. *NOTE* keep the part of the watermelon you cut out if you intend to transport the watermelon. Ok, prop up the watermelon so the bottle is upside down. Watch for leakage.

Leave it sit for a while, and when the flask is empty, your watermelon is ready. If you want to transport the watermelon, put the plug of watermelon back in the hole. Then just cut the watermelon up and eat! You will be drunk in no time. Also, if a cop sees it in your car, he will never suspect it. The alcohol will be absorbed by the watermelon, and then will get you wasted when you eat it. **WARNING** Keep the watermelon away from sparks or flames. Grain alcohol is very flammable. I have never tried making a watermelon bomb, but I'm sure it would at least burn quite a bit. Also, it is hard to tell how much alcohol you are 'eating'. Space apart the peices you eat so you can tell how wasted you are getting.

It'll stop you getting cold on a cold night, thats for sure.

Something different you could try a concrete mixer.
1 shot of a milk/cream based drink (kahlua..), and 1 shot of a citrus based drink (midori..i think). Have them in seperate shot glasses.
Take the shot of the milk drink, and HOLD IT IN YOUR MOUTH. Then take the citrus shot and hold it in your mouth.
Wait a few seconds and swallow the solidified, curdled mixture.
It's an odd feeling, thats for sure.

Keep in mind sarah, that the kids answering you on this arent experienced drinkers and are not even close to the legal drinking age here. so to listen to there stupid answers is a bad idea.

Long Island Iced Teas are good

for a shooter, go with the Kammikazi, its a pretty stiff shooter, but it tastes good and gos down easy.

try a Gustapo, thats a shooter with Jagermeister and rumplemintz, its good shit, not to hard to take down, but will get you fucked up.

a screwdriver is always good to drink too, along with rum and cokes, and whiskey and cokes.

beer is the way to go at the end of your night

just remember the saying

'liquor befor beer, your in the clear. beer before liquor, you've never been sicker.'

this will keep you from mixing all of the alcohol in your stomach which would make you extremely sick, although if you dont puke on your bday then you didnt party hard enough. but it will also keep your hangover to a minimum the following day.

i had smirnoff the other night, it tastes like a freakin fruit drink, and it does nothing for you. it was a waste of a drink. it was brewed down in allentown near the keebler warehouse though so thats kinda cool

it is funny to say you dont like beer, it reminds me last night we were chillin in my friends backyard and we had a couple blunts, a couple joints, some beer, some So Co, and some peachtree shnapps. so at the end of the night everybody decided what they like best. Its all about the mind erasers. Get a short coctail glass fill it with ice, pour in 1/3 Kahluah, 1/3 Vodka, and top off the last third with soda water. DO NOT MIX IT! Get a straw, make sure its in all the way to the bottom layer, and then suck it down fast. Once the soda water hits your brain, you are done. Have a few of these for maximum impact.

Flaming Dr. Pepers are good too, get a beer mug, fill it half full with beer, then take a shot of bacardi 151, light it on fire, and throw the whole thing glass and all into the mug. drink it fast, it tastes like Dr. Pepper.

A snake bite is tequilla and JD. It's a great shot to buy people on their birthdays, but sometimes they won't let you buy them any more drinks again. Tequilla and tabasco sauce is called a prarie fire.
Amaredo and Root beer are a good mix, but in the clubs I usually find it easiest to stick with rum & cokes.
