Ok, correct me if im wrong, but top spancered pros and everything skied 05 skis in 2004. Now 2006 skis are out and currently the date is january 20th. Does this seem a little rediculous to anyone besides me?

haha, its kinda stupid. its like cars do, come out with versions and release them 6 months early. however, they could be beta versions that they are testing out for next season.

well..most people wont be getting the 2006 until next year anyways... for the 2006 season

it makes perfect sence.

Sponsored athletes get the next seasons skis when the public gets the current seasons skis. The pros ride and film on the coming seasons skis all winter. That way when the new crop of videos comes out the next fall, BAM all the skis that are in the video are on the shelf in the ski shops.

also the next seasons skis are around this time of the year because of the SIA trade show in Las Vegas. All the dealers from all over North America and the world go to the show to see, and order the product for the coming season.
