I am trying to get a group together to go hit the high spring board at MIT. It's open on friday night from 8:30-10 and saturday from 1pm-3pm. Basically want to get a group together to go and try new stuff and try and learn from eachother. It's 10 bucks or 5 with a student id. I have done it almost every weekend and its a great great way to practice stuff, and get spins down and whatnot.
Looking to get a regular group to go every weekend, also possible to work on their trampoline there, or at a place near it. But if your interested in going this weekend let me know and I can give you the details.

Hope someone is interested. It's a great opportunity to learn new stuff before you huck it off a jump. I would be more then happy to teach anyone who is interested on how to do certain things. Hope to get a good group would be lotsa fun.

its not dumb. Usually high dives are built out of concrete and dont bounce, but this is a springboard.

He was asking if the spring board equalled a pool. Which doesnt really even make sense but I think what he was getting at was asking if the spring board was INTO a pool. And what else would a springboard be into? That was only the dumbest comment of all time.

dspin's comment was pretty funny, come on now.
ps, pool training is key. i was at the Carleton U pool tonight throwing all sorts of stuff...its great cross training for hitting jumps.

fome pits rule. So much fun but from 5 meters up and a spring board it might hurt a little.

Ok to all who messaged me. Its from 8:45-10:45 at the zeizeger center (sp) just ask at the desk for the open dive. It costs 10 bucks. Hope to see you all there. Should be tons of fun. Peace

One question though... doesn't the weight of your skis just rocket you to the bottom of the pool?

heh u dont take skis onto a diving board. I hope you all don't think u can use your skis on the board. Would be pretty tough this is just like jumping off the board normally heh to practice ballance in the air and such. Then you take it to the snow with your skis.
Man I hope people dont show up with their skis heh.

well the session tonight wasn't too bad. Allthough the MIT people got harsh when I tried to throw anything backwards. But it was still good. I am prolly gonna go tommorow and then tramp it on sunday. If anyone is interested in tramping it please let me know.
