from what I hear last night, we have a possibility of a Nor'Easter Sunday. However they were saying its too far to predict with any certainty. They were saying it could hit the North East with a large amount of snow, of could go south, giving the North East nothing. We shall wait and see.
if we do my prayers will be answered and i wont have to take my french exam on monday.... i hope no snow..

Arctic chill to move in on northwest winds over the next 48 hours sending wind chills down into the minus 30s and 40s Friday…but good news is that these winds will certainly fall off for Saturday though its will still be on the cold side. Windows will be frosty region wide and ice crystals may angle lights a tonight to make the appearance that someone is shining a flash light straight up in the sky. Something that more typically seen in Alaska and northern Canada High pressure will nose in for Friday but its will be a cold one very much like Tuesday.
Yes we do get a little bit of a storm Saturday! The very northern extent of a passing storm system way down in the mid Atlantic region, will just graze our region with a little light snow for Saturday afternoon and evening. Though not a big snowfall up here, it will dash us with a little new powder.
A negative NAO (or North Atlantic Oscillation) that would favor a huge block over or south of Greenland to slow and turn are large coastal system northward will just not happen. Another light snowfall will hit us on Monday afternoon and again Wednesday. Both of these in the 1 to 3 inch range for the Green Mountains.
By the way, the mid point of coldest 90 days of climatological winter hit’s this Sunday on January 23rd.
My gut feeling is that there will be many more storm opportunities during the last half of winter. So far consistent with my prediction of a “back loaded winter going longer into spring
