stiff skis give you less pop ya jackass. you cant pre-load them as much as soft skis. especially with butters.

stiff skis have more pop in pipe and on jumps, where the jump loads them up, but as far as ollies and butters where you have to load teh ski yourself, they dont have asmuch pop. Get it? stiff skis are also more stable and easier to land backseat on.

i hate to break it to you, but all skis have magnetic fields, it is what holds them together, not epoxy. some skis magnetic fields stick to rails, others hoover, like mine. some skis change depending on the conditions

ok lineski, i'll level with you. THE MAGNETIC FIELD THING IS A JOKE!!! and stiffer skis if anything are better on rails cuz they dont bend as easily if you nose/tail press so your centre of gravity is higher up and you stay on for longer. if you're nose/tail pressing you need to have a centre of gravity that is higher than the rail or you will come off to the side. the further away you are from the rail you are the more your centre of gravity waivers.

stiff skis = easier takeoff (more pop)
soft skis = easier landing (more forgiving)
any ski = good on a rail. it doesn't matter.

The type of ski you have on your foot makes no difference for doing rails.
Unless it has a groove in the base for locking in, such as the Line Weapon skiboard, or possibly the T hall pro model with the 'detuned edge'

my skiis repel gravity, i can hover as long as i want, i usually turn them to atract when i leave the atmosphere so i can come back down, thought the earth has moves a bit so i mand in japan, sweet uh? but this by definition excludes metaphysics of noodles...
