iFlipYou chose to go to Manhattan for spring break and you are looking for cheap? Perhaps you should be nominated for dumbest NSer of the month. Manhattan is many things, but cheap is absolutely not one of them.
If you want a real Manhattan experience, you cough up some money. A lot of money. Go to a Broadway show (PM me if you want specific recommendations, but all are good). Go see some standup comedy. Go to a nice, a really nice, restaurant.
On the cheap, you can go to the museums. Most of them you can choose what you want to pay. The Guggenheim is free. Go wander Central Park. Belvedere Castle is free and good for 15 minutes of amusement. Go see the amazing universities of Columbia and NYU, both free to walk around campus. Crispy.You're wrong sir. I came with my family and we balled out pretty hard over the week. However, I had a day to myself and didn't want to spend any more money (especially when it's my own hahaha). Plus, I was sick of all the touristy attractions. I wanted to really experience the city in a different way than everyone who goes to NYC as a tourist.
End this thread because the day is over, but I ended up exploring the high line, eating at a halal stand, and spending some quality time at the Museum of Natural History.
