I have always skied with centermounted bindings on powder and park skis. I have a pair of Bluehouse Maestro 118 wich are almost centermounted and I have never experienced to sink in deep snow! But with my K2 shreditor 112 centermounted I feel like I have no float in the pow... How much better will they float if I mount the bindings in classic stance for example? Or should I have a fatter ski? Anyone else have any experience switching binding positions further back on skis?
Center mount is completely useless unless you are on a symmetrical ski or purely ski park. Obviously you can see that on your 112's...a ski that wide should float in some pow. Classic park rat thread...
yeah the only time you should really ever centermount is on a completely symmetrical ski. Definitely move those suckers back, they werent made to be mounted there.
