Duke or Adrenalin?

Should I put Marker Dukes or Tyrolia Adrenalins on my Armada JJ 2.0s?

Mostly resort with the occasional side tour

No park but a few natural features here and there but no huge drops or hits

Would I be right in assuming you wouldnt recommend the Duke/Barons because of this?

Or are you suggesting that the release mechanism is solid and rarely happens?

I have the Adrenalin on a Elan1010. Around 30 days so far on the binding. All in all a pretty sweet binding for resort and sidecountry. Solid built except for the climbing aid, which gets loose (after around 20k vertical meters) and always flips back into the horizental position after 10 steps. But you just have to take it off and spread the metal bracket.

I have a Duke EPF as well and I am pretty happy so far after around 40 days touring on them. Climbing aid is better built, except if the lever for switching between touring and riding mode.

Yeah would not recommend them. All the bindings in this category have flaws but I've had bad luck with all of them (broke atomic trackers as well ) but I havnt used the tyrolia so I can't comment on those. The atomic/salomons developed a ton of play in the heel and toe

I have a pair of Dukes on my 189 Turbos. At the time that I bought them, the only other option was NAXOs or Freerides.

I have no issues with them, but I have no reason to buy another pair. If I was to get another frame-style AT binding, I would get whatever I found a deal on.

But realistically I'll probably pick up some Kingpins.
