Abu-Baghdadi1. That's wrong. My dog eats meat and I don't see him becoming super smart. It was actually the cooking of the meat which allowed us to cut down on chewing and develop in other parts. But that argument is irrelevant, humans don't need to evolve anymore, and we are not evolving anymore either.
2. Yeah natural environments, I would hardly call that factory farm agriculture. It's a factory. Also glad you brought up fish, estimates put fish will be extinct by 2048
3.oh yes this classic balanced diet argument. Go on tell me about your balanced diet while ordering McDonalds.
4. If you cared about animals so much like you care about your dog, you'd either eat free range meats or you wouldn't eat meat at all. You have choices, and your choices have consequences. Those consequences are billions of animals being killed, raped and tortured every year for your benefit.
Get fucked with the whole meat thing. Humans don't need it, it does no good and the world would be a better place if you didn't eat meat.
Alright I'll bite
1. If you are talking about a single organism evolving then it is plain and clear you have no understanding of how evolution works. Flat out. Also you are providing anecdotal evidence. Don't do that if you want to have a discussion like a big boy.
2. I can concede that there is a disconnect between my nature point and how most of the food in the world is processed. However that is assuming that all the meat in the world is in fact gathered in a factory farm way. This is untrue. There are many cultures where humans still hunt for their meat and the environment is better off for it. There are also many farms that are raising animals ethically and sustainably.
3. I never claimed to eat a balanced diet. But you're making a sweeping generalization assuming that all omnivores eat at mcdonalds. This is not true. There are many people that do eat balanced diet.
4. Again child, you need to stop making such sweeping generalizations. I do eat a lot of free range, grass fed meat that is raised and slaughtered locally. Also I do fully understand the consequences of my actions. I grew up on a small farm where we raised sheep and chickens. As children we named these animals and then when it came time we slaughtered these animals ourselves and then we ate them. I know first hand how these things work.
Listen, being vegan is cool and all but you need to learn to accept that eating meat is going to continue for a long long time. There are ways of making the meat industry much much better and those efforts are being made. But when you attack people who are trying to help the situation you're not helping anything. In fact, I would argue that you are actually making things worse. So get off your high horse and put your effort into something that will actually help. Rather than blindly attacking an omnivore because "theyre all the same" maybe you should go start a farm.
