Cooked meat is what made us able to evolve into Homo sapiens. We have dental features of omnivores and not herbivores.

Not that I agree that eating animals is cruel in and of itself. After all it is very natural. However the industrialization of meat processing is not only cruel but unhealthy for consumers as well.

No but the factory farms that make your meat and chicken do. Now unless you raise all your own animals and every meal you eat is of your own doing, then yes that is how your meat gets to your plate. Also some of the best forms of agriculture involve animals. Look at aquaponics. The fish provide nutrition for the plants and the plants provide nutrition for the fish. It's called nature and that is how it has worked for billions of years.

1. That's wrong. My dog eats meat and I don't see him becoming super smart. It was actually the cooking of the meat which allowed us to cut down on chewing and develop in other parts. But that argument is irrelevant, humans don't need to evolve anymore, and we are not evolving anymore either.
