a thread that I just saw reminded me that there might be one or two on here.... If you are an Eagle Scout when did you become one, what troop were you from, what was your project? If you are becoming one; what rank are you currently and what do you think your project will be.


I Became an Eagle Scourt March 8, 2013. I sent 40 care packages to five different army units stationed in the Middle East, all of whom were in need of basic necessities that could Lundy be had. I was A member of troop 1102 out of Lincoln IL and the WD Boyce Council.

I became one in October 2013 couldnt tell you the exact date. Troop 349 out of Richmond, IL. I built some super solid picnic tables for the local fire department.
lincoln is down by springfield right? how far is the nearest ski hill?

Lincoln is between Springfield Bloomington and Peoria it's at the interchange of 55 and 155. Nearest hill is a good 2.5 hours I go to snowstar alot

Got my eagle scout shit I think back in 2005-7 we went out and maintained local trails for a week for my project. Troop 565 out of camas WA.

Eagle Scout At troop 283 Wayzata Minnesota. Just got it officially a month ago. My project was building wood duck houses for a local park district.

my project is to maintan the features at camp 1806 and fix their airbag problem, aparently some kid named swandog7 gapped the whole thing

Currently a star scout but will be life soon, for my eagle project I either want to redue my schools old garden, or make some mountain biking trails

Really depends on the troop. I met plenty of goobers like the ones that most people think of when they think of scouts, but lots of chill people too.

you do have a point There but it really depends on the troop. I remember going to camps a few times and just wondering what the hell About the way some people acted

Depends on the leaders and the peoples. Some troops we met at camp were super lame. We had a pretty loose leash.

Had a huge fire with flag poles we carrier up from the woods one year. Got a nest of ground bees to attack and flame throwered it with bug spray. Winter camping. Shooting guns.

Hanging out with your friends.

Idk, I stopped for the most part as soon as I got to HS. I went an hour each way to school and played sports. Didn't have time/ didn't give a fuck about becoming an eagle scout.

I believe I was a life scout of something like that if that's a thing. Only had to type up 2 things and do an eagle project and I think I was done but I just wanted to get burnt and ride my bike in the little bit of spare time I had.

I guess I probably should have finished, but I don't think it makes much of a difference on my resume.

Got mine October 10th, 2012 tens days before my 18th birthday, Troop 301 outside of Pittsburgh, PA. I build a custom gate and revamped a section of the Montour Trail.
