Hi guys,
I'm looking for ski advice. I'm a 5'10 150 pound skier and I ski primarily on the west coast at Tahoe, Mammoth, and Big Bear. I ride on a pair of 2015 K2 shredditor 102's and I like them a lot. I'd consider myself a type III skier for frontside all mountain. I enjoy bombing groomers and would like a ski that can help me increase my top speed. I'm very comfortable on most mogul runs, I enjoy pow, I'm getting into going into the trees, but I'm not hucking cliffs and I'm not too comfortable in the air if it's more than a couple feet. Sorry if that's too much background.
Anyway, I'm interested in getting into park skiing. I think I would like a fairly stiff, full camber park ski with the lightest swing weight possible. I'm hoping to get 360s and rail slides down comfortably, but I also want a ski that I can really open it up on the groomers too. Currently I can land 180s off small knuckles and rollers, and I can 90 on to boxes for slides, but I look pretty dumb and slow doing it. My budget is around $500 with no bindings, but I'm planning on picking up some 15/16 skis at the end of this season/ the start of the next one.
Thanks for your help.
