I am thinking about skydiving this summer. Has anyone ever done it? If so, is it worth the money? It's around $200 for a tandem dive where I am from. Thanks
Yes. Its awesome. Id say $200 is expensive, I did it for $130 a few years back and got a video. The video was not as cool as I had hoped but still fun to watch. My biggest thing I wish I thought of was to do it at a cool place, like a beach or somewhere you can see something interesting once the chute is pulled. Id recommend going on a trip where you are at a destination that has that.
If not, just do it where you are. It is an incredible experience, youll, love it. Just make sure your instructor isn't a midget.

200 is not expensive. $130 is ridiculously cheap to include a video.
I wouldn't go unless you have another $5000 to drop on a first jump course and your own gear because you will get hooked.
True, the only thing stopping me from getting my license is time. Was going to do it this spring but I impulse bought a cheap ticket to europe. Maybe next spring or if I somehow have enough time in the spring.
