Armada B-dog size?

Hi everybody,

I am looking for some new ski's and I might be able to get a good deal on some Armada B-dogs in 176, but I am wondering if this is going to be too short for me. I plan on mostly skiing park on them, and am currently skiing on a 176 NFX as a park ski. I am a pretty decent skier, although I mostly ski indoors so not too many big jumps.

I am 5.10 and 175lbs. I know I can ski a 182, but these aren't available. Is the 176 going to be too short due to its soft flex and rocker? Will the still be stable going fast or on bigger features?

the bigger size would be better, but you will be able to manage

I'm 5 11 and ski 176 thalls, that being said I'm moving to a 181 filthy next year, not because I think my skis are too short now but because they are rockered to ski shorter, imo since you don't hit big jumps 176's should be fine

Thanks, I will be getting these with some attack 16's. Super stoked.
Now just thinking where to mount for mainly park.
Center, -1 or recommended -2.5?

I feel like it doesn't really make sense to center mount them, but I read that Hornbeck rides them that way...?

Quick follow up; next years B-dogs are a completely new ski, did not realize that. No more taper, look similar shapewise to the new arv series, and narrower than before with a 90mm waist. Sizing also changed. Got them in a 179, which should be perfect and is the biggest size.
Still not sure about where to mount them.
