Adrenalin 16s vs Marker Barons

last year i chose the adrenalins and ive only used them for a handful of day tours but i was very impressed and happy with my decision. ive heard too many stories of inconsistent performance and durability from the Markers. adrenalins have the highest stack height out of the group (them, barons, guardians), but it's not that bad (and that's coming from me, someone who is really big on stack height), and i believe theyre the lightest of the group, but i have had no durability etc issues yet and i havent heard any stories of that so far either

Thanks for posting the response! Yah i'm sorta torn cause I got a good deal on the Barons but I'm not sure I want the Large since I dont need all that extra travel

Do you know what the ride height is on the Baron vs the Adrenalin?

I originally had some Salomon Guardians I was gonna install but after seeing all the plastic vs the Barons slide plate seemed much more durable

However when I talked to a ski tech he seemed to think this was the set up

Salomon Guardians < Barons< Adrenalins

Could you speak towards the burly-ness of the Adrenalins?

yeah, well, when i was deciding, it quickly became a contest between the guardians and the adrenalins. a few things turned me off the markers..hard to remember what exactly those things were now, sorry

but anyway-- the adrenalin hasn't been marketed nearly as much as the other two but i agree with a dude who said to me last year, "i believe it'd be the most popular if they marketed more"

sure, theyre just not as commonly used, but i simply havent heard as many negative stories about them as the other two main choices

i forget the exact stack height (though you could text me later if you want, and i could take a pic of my setup with adrenalins), but it never bothered me much. it's not like youre hitting park on your adrenalin set up so much that it's a real issue. for my park/resort skis, im alllll about that and love my old pivot jibs because of the low stack height.

i only took a handful of tours on them so far (hated the skis i mounted them on and need to replace them), but i did ski them on a fair amount of different terrains and snows and i thought they felt great. only a couple small drops here and there but i never had a turn or landing that felt insecure, and aggressive fall line skiing is my bag

oh, and believe me dude, i totally feel ya on price being a big concern. but those two prices aren't thaaat different in the long run. and have you tried getting adrenalins through someone's pro form or shop form? i got mine for 2 hundred something through one i believe...
