I've been having a lot of trouble deciding what lenth of the Rossi Scratch to get. Im 5'7' and 125. I want either the 174 or 180. I plan on owning these skis till Im 5'10'. NOw what should I do? I know the 180 might be a little big but I will grow. But I've also heard that big skis can work in the park. Some guys on this site and Vinnie, Tanner, and Candide, all use skis like 3 or 4 inches taller then them. I do like 65% park and the rest is back country? Help??????!!!!!!!! And the Rossi's are also center mount so that won't make them seem so long...

are you getting the fs or bc? but at your weight, get the shorter one, especially if you are 65% park. a ski can not tell how tall you are, just how much you weigh, and you are a lightweight.

if your taller, you need a longer ski because of a higher center of gravity. A higher center of gravity gives you less stability, and u need a longer ski.

If you are havier, you need a stiffer ski. If u are heavy but not tall, you dont need as much ski because of a lower center of gravity, but u need a stiffer ski to support your weight.

Its kind of complicated, but thats how it works.

-A tall heavy person neeeds a long stiff ski
-A tall light person needs a long softer ski
-A short heavy person needs a shorter stiff ski
-A short light person needs a shorter softer ski

I know this is kinda off topic, but this should be of help for anyone choosing skis!

for a twin, go with something around 180 like the 1080 or mad_trix.
