Well new to me, i was experimenting with my 1080 boots because i've been getting awful shin bang. First i moved the 3-d buckle back, should help. But then i noticed the notch in the plastic cuff on the inside of the leg. YOu can put the end of the strap in there, and then the strap is right up against the liner rather than on the plastic where it does almost nothing. I wonder if this is what that gap is for, we'll see.
