Ramp "cork" skis?

Are the ramp corks flexible? Durable? Etc. Looking to get a pair.

A friend of mine has had 2 pairs. The first pair delaminated, and then his binding FELL OFF. He hit a rail, landed totally normally, and the binding seemed loose. Naturally, he took off his ski to see what was wrong, and the binding fell off. The holes in the ski were ovals. His second pair hasn't broken yet, but the first pair was destroyed.

well no shit. any ski that has delamed is at risk of a binding pull out. Especially a ski that doesn't have a titanium sheet. Once water gets into the wood, it gets mushy and can't hold the screws in.

Yeah the binding falling off is due to the delam. So thats his own fault for not sealing the delam properly.
