Need new ideas on bindings

Hi guys, ive been a die hard FKS fan but ive stepped outside my line ski "fanboyness" and figured i try a new binding as well. I know marker jesters are decent but what about all the other brands.

Tyrolia Attacks are propably second best binding after fks/pivot. If you really want to try new bindings, try these. Or try some sth2s. But seriosly there is no point on switching bindings if your current ones work fine.

Get yourself some sth 2 13s or 16s. I love the toe piece. I wish I could take a sth 16 toe piece with a fks heel. Ideally that would be a fks 155 but They don't make them and are super hard to find. :(

I looooove my 155s...so bomber.

But look into the STH series, just as bomber. I'm just not a big fan of the toe...feels weird to me hahaha. Never had an issue with them.

Also the attack series has great reviews. Never had personal experience on them though.

I don't like the way that markers click in. Never found it to be confidence inspiring. That's about my only gripe with them though.

I got pivot 14s (fks rebranded) and attack 13s and enjoy both. Attacks have super click in/out and are pretty reliable. I like the feel of my pivots more, though for $60 cheaper than the fks 12, the attacks are all worth the money imo.

have to agree about the attack 13, have used mine for 2 years and they are still holding up well. brakes are fucked but that is to be expected.

I've heard Tyrolia Attacks are great. I've also only had good experiences with Rossignol Axials

Had Salomon STH 14 Drivers and replaced them this year with the new Salomon STH2 16s. By far the best bindings I've had.

If you want to save a couple bucks, the Atomic STHs are typically a few bucks cheaper than the Salomon STHs. Same parent company, probably the exact same binding.

Seriously, the pivot/fks is the best binding out there.

- Greater lateral travel/with extra wide AFD for a smoother ride and more consistent release.
- increased torsional stiffness (especially at the heel) for better edge grip
- no shear release
-reduced mounting platform allows the ski to flex naturally.

if you dont want the fks, get some attack 13's or 16's. Super light and good quality.

Tyrolia Attack or Look Pivot.

Tyrolia's are far less meme but still a very good binding, light but burly and filled with manly anger.

Go to a shop and engage one by hand, it will close shut like a bearttrap, you will instantly grow a beard the moment you strap in. They feel rock solid despite their weight. Lots of friends ride them, no one ever complained about them also they are cheap.
