My mountain blasted awful pop music from the base area. Well trendy pop so probably lots of peoples jam. But I blasted my own loud enough to over power. Honestly my speaker isn't loud enough to hear from too far away and I generally turn it down in line and on the lift and off when I go into the lodge etc.

I can't use headphones anymore since my last head injury so it's the only way I can jam the tunes, and some music makes digging way more enjoyable.

most of the time when i'm raking i'll just play music through a small bluetooth speaker in my pocket. but when im riding i'm using earphones.

Bluetooth speakers in the helmet are the way to go. You can hear people on the hill and still hear your music, blasting your shit tunes for the world to hear on the hill is like rolling your windows down at a stoplight to blast that sick new justin Beiber song on your 2 10" subs. Headphones or no tunes.

I'm glad you have a reason for a speaker, some people just do it to be obnoxious and I hate it. Especially since they don't even play good music.

used to bump tunes when bumping chairs until dickbag mechanics and higher-ups cut all of our aux chords in half and installed bullshit sirius xm receivers because of kids playing on their phones too much. People were diggin all the surf punk i was jamming to as well :/

A small speaker for bumping tunes in the woods over some beers/doobs in a shack are great though. I cant stand those fuckin knobs with their skullcandy packs blasting shit though. Its like great we get it, your music tastes are awful.
