Baggies?

I'm probably gonna pick up a pair of the longer style baggies from Patagonia. Anyone have them? Why should I get them rather than a board short

I have em - they're pretty rad. I wear them a fair amount in the summer - they look less like a board short & have mesh inside.

Bought two pairs last summer, they are comfy as hell, but imo if you plan on doing a lot of water activity just get an actual pair of board shorts. Baggies are perfect for hiking and anything outside but I was not a fan of the mesh lining so i cut that out

How's the sizing? I was thinking either the 6.5" or 7" seam so I don't show a whole lot of thigh.

Hahaha right on. I'll definitely get the 6.5" or 7" ones. The 6.5" are slimmer tho. How slim are they already?

They aren't too slim, I have powerful thighs and they still got room, after all they are baggies ;)

I have tree trunk legs, and they still fit me well. I went with the 5'' style. Anything Patagonia, you can bank on it being quality.

Yeah I ordered the 7" last night and ordered a pair for my GF for her birthday.

Plugs are so bummy for never having these. I swear tha buds come wrapped up in a paper towel more often than they put them in a fucking baggie.
