NS videos not working

Everytime I try to play a video, it has a weird flickering white layer overtop of it, so I can't see the video. I can still hear the videos sound. thoughts?

it's basically a white layering that flickers on top of the video, some times it flickers away for a second and i can see some of the video, but for the most part it is there the whole time

Odd, what is that black bar near the top of the image? Is that part of the video player still visible?

Does it ever happen on videos embedded in the forums? If not, then it's specific to the video pages which helps narrow down the problem.

just went and found a video embedded in the forums and it worked fine. I've noticed that the issue only occurs on videos uploaded on the ns player. It doesn't happen on vimeo videos, etc. Also, I tried on safari and everything worked fine.

Ok thanks, that narrows it down. I'll check into it some more.

Funny story, my laptop stopped working yesterday so I took it in to get checked out and the hard drive was failing... I got a new hard drive and now no issues with the videos.
