Reliable East Coast Spring Skiing?

I havent done nearly as much skiing as i wanted to do this year, and with the lack of snow here on the east, dont know where i can count on to be open relatively late this year. If anyone has any knowledge that would benefit me, id appreciate it.

I would check out killington, last year mount snow had a way better season, they had more trails open in April them they have right now, they probably won't last too much longer

IDK who officially blows snow after Presidents Day. Killy prolly does.


Sugarloaf because of how far north it is and the layout (that quad high up will be fine and u can lap it) is the best bet.

Next is Killly/SR/Stowe/Bush.



This will be the worst east coast spring for a while though.


If you took the time to post this I would call the resorts and spend 15 minutes and ask if tehy are still snowmaking if temps permit. If somewhere says 'yes' and doesn't blow you off go there. Its not a lucrative practice to blow snow this late but honestly someone has to be doing it on cold nights call around.

Tickets are free on the last day of skiing at sunday river. I went there like April 21 2 years ago. Killi after they got a ton of rain that season also was able to be open until may 18.

I think stratton will last till the end of March. Don't know if they will go two weeks into April again but no doubt will be open at the end of march. Mt Snow is always open late as well...they always set up some wicked spring parks

Stratton is hosting an event in mid April and they are advertising skiing and riding being available. I think that's a pretty bold claim to say they will have skiing with this shitty of a season and the forecast ahead

It isn't to bad right now. There park is actually pretty good suprisingly. Coverage is pretty solid across the mountain. Trust me, if they could open up in november/december-christmas time (which was AWFUL)...like 5 trails open. They will definitely stay open through advertised unless we get some sort of ridiculous amount of rain or it stays in the 70's here.

I know, I ski there and Mount Snow with the double down pass. I respectfully disagree, while they advertise 80+ trails open coverage is so thin only a few more days of this heat plus rain will put that mid april projection at risk. 4 out of the next 7 days have rain in the forecast. Not trying to be negative but I just feel like they are going to hurt themselves by advertising skiing and riding over a month away from now. It just doesn't seem possible

really its been that bad this year? havent been back east in like 4 years. haha the other day i was even thinking about coming back to sugarloaf in april. should have done it last year when when we had snow in the west.

Gore usually has the best spring skiing because the glades last awhile, but the shitty winter gave us nothing for snowpack. They still have the most terrain open in NY though.

In Quebec, you can find some rad spring skiing at Tremblant, Mont St-Anne and Le Massif du Sud and La petite riviere have some ridiculous fat spring salt.

Doubt there is more then 2' depth on Washington.
