Replying to word plus definition?????

i have an assignment due tomorrow for a class and i missed the explanation for it because i wasn't on this continent. in any case, does anyone know what a 'word plus definition' is???

the assignement is for a linguistics class and its asking for defintions of words the question (and its context) is this: a. give the word plus definition and tell which page it is on.

need help pronto if you know the answer. thanks.
