Spagett+Kendrick is overrated. TBAB and Untitled Unmastered are both just think piece baits for shit head music 20 something year old "critics" who think they are progressive and have good taste.

I don't think I have good taste. I just like music. Idk why everyone has to be so critical of everything. I think Kendrick is decent lyricist but not great by any standards, but his beat selection and content is excellent. The combination of the three make him one of the best out right now. You can't ignore the majority opinion of an album like TPAB and say it's garbage when there was huge backing for it in Compton and all of Cali, as well as many other artists praising it. I myself don't find it to be an extremely listenable album, more of a "think piece" as you put it, but the singles on it are fuckin jammin. King Kunta and Alright are real good songs IMO and the whole album works together wonderfully with the continued skit ending with the 10 min "Mortal Man" track and the commentary on solidarity and unity in the black community.

You can't deny his production talents are off the charts. "Ain't No Love (Heart of The City)" by Jay-Z is, I think. one of the best beats ever. Not to mention his artistic vision in creating 808's and Heartbreak YEARS before that sound really came about. I mean, T-Pain was auto-tuning but not very similar to the electronic influence that Kanye brought about. Not to mention the resurgence of the soul samples on and after The College Dropout. Yeah he sucks as a person and is an egotistical idiot but his impact on hip-hop has been massive.
