I have a type

I've tried to convince myself otherwise since the last guy I dated wasn't my type, and I thought I could disprove the notion that I wouldn't conform to a look or style which I had always done before.
but after that disaster, I'm going back to my roots

I like a real smart guy, pretty witty, can make fun of me but also has no problem feeding my ego either

I LOVE hair. shaggy hair, long-ish hair. anything a few inches past chin length is a little bit of a stretch for me tho, I just love a man with good flow.

they can have their own style, tshirts, hoodies, button downs with dress pants, but obvi skier clothes would be the initial way to my heart, however I do loveeeee a man in business casual attire. #imbasic

deal breaker is brown eyes. I gotta have a man with color... blue, green, hazel.. they're the real1s

finally, I gotta have a man that can ride, skis or board, im not picky - make park laps all day and then go drink shitty beer with me and i'll be in love.

My friends tell me I have a type and I never really bought it until now lol

I like guys with long hair, like to the chin or longer, particularly blonde. I'm a sucker for curly hair and I like dreads as long as they're sorta short and clean looking. Something I can grab on to lol

They have to be into music and guys that are into art or play instruments or do yoga and shit I love

Skiing or snowboarding is a must if they wanna have our relationship last through the winter because I spend all of my time at the hill

And for some reason I like really tall guys that are sorta skinny. I'm not into bulky guys (chubby or muscular)

They have to be a little bit outgoing too because I'm a wildflower haha

I always knew what I wanted, I just didn't know all my friends wanted me to date a hippy.

Free spirited, fiercely independent, a very gentle soul, someone who helps me grow, and years stays themselves in the best way possible.

He has to appreciate music, skiing, the Earth, and dogs.

I don't care much about eye color, they just have to be gentle.

For me, the hesher the better. I like the heavy metal/punkers more than the thuggish E-Dollos out there but a little G-status doesnt hurt. I still bump the Wu here and there.

I prefer someone who can keep the fuck up on a powder day too. Theres nothing I hate more than a guy who can absolutely throw down in the park but cant ski deep fluff for shit. A touring buddy would be cool too so he cant smoke so much that hes not able to climb a mountain.

He also cant be a lil bitch.

I like dudes I can be super casual with. Like just making fun jabs at each other all day and killin' it on and off the mountain.

I like a dude with a signature laugh. Like one that's so ridiculous that I just have to kiss him. I don't know, I've actually been thinking about my "type" a lot recently. I definitely require a skier who can keep up with me on pow days and push me in the park. I want someone as chill and laid back as my parents and who's down af for tacos at any time of day.

I like spontaneity. and facial hair. mannn, i dig facial hair. I also like when dudes drive my car. And make me laugh, like really deep laughs. Also, I think I dig guys that wear glasses. And I like hats better than beanies lately. And I like dudes that I can trade books with like, "Hey, I thought you'd like this." I want a dude who's ridiculous and charming and can be plain silly. There's nothing worse than a guy who acts all stiff around his friends. Not chill.

My "type" is not very specific.

I like skiers (obviously), snowboarders, skaters, bmx'ers. Action sports are dope, if we could bond over that, I'd be happy. Or even if we could just do shit outside together that would be sweet. I see too many couples sit in side all day watching movies and cuddling, which is cool sometimes but I want a dude who will take me to cool places and do cool things with.

I like long hair and tall boys. But short hair also can be very attractive and all boys are tall when you're only 5'3. I like a clean face and I also like facial hair when done right. Full, shorter beards are very very very attractive. I like all eye colors and hair colors too. Man buns are so hot too.

I fucking love smart guys. Guys who geek out over school and get stoked on the things they are learning. I love it. Idk why. For whatever reason I envision myself with a computer science major. lol but that might because I have a giant crush on one... oh well. lol

Honestly if you make me laugh, if we can do cool things, if you're smart, if you like to cuddle, and if you'll stick your penis in me then I'll date you.

Don't have a type. Have a few ideas of what you want in a partner, and go from there. Don't just stick to one "type" of guy. Maybe you want a skier, but look at ALL skiers.

tru. like if you stick with one type then you're just gonna be with a bunch of people who are pretty similar and if it doesn't work out, it's just gonna continue to not work out as you move through those same perople. I think if you try to have a type then you're probably setting standards for someone(which is fine) but having too specific of a type could mean you're looking for someone who is perfect and that's just not going to happen.

I think you gotta ditch the idea of having a type. While you might have one subconsciously, just hang out with people who you enjoy being around. Don't purposely not hangout with someone because they aren't "your type" and don't make extra effort to make something work with someone who is your type.

Thanks dudes, this advice helped a ton! I'm going to keep my options open and stop considering one sort of guy my "type."

me: no get a man bun
him: let me just cut off my balls real quick first
me: haha i mean thats not the most ideal route
him: i thought that was required to have a man bun. the first step to becoming a giant pussy is cutting your balls off
