Waxing Temperature

Does it really make a difference using temperature specific wax? Like I'm skiing tomorrow and my skis need a wax but all I have is (-8)-(-12) Celsius (like 18 to 10 farenheit I think?) wax and its supposed to be 6 degrees Celsius (like 42 farenheit) will it be better to just leave them be or wax them?

Its better to have cold wax in warm conditions than have warm wax in cold conditions. I doubt a day would make a difference but using cold wax wouldnt hurt

To answer your question, yes, temperature specific waxes make a difference. Do you always have to use them in their specific temperature range, no. That range is their optimal use (typically). So you do not want to stray to far outside of it.

We have found using an all temp wax combats this problem. No guessing, no wondering if the wax will work, you just know.
