Anyone on the East Coast/Mid west closing up? I thought us Western Pennsylvanians would be ok, but now it's looking like we have 4-5 weeks left. Supposed to be 75 next week. This has officially been the shortest winter ever.

DBack1321This week is going to murder the Northeast. Supposed to be almost 70 on Wednesday, rain the next day then rain next week. Bye skiing see you next year.


I think VT and north will survive it till the end of march/early april as usual. Yea it wont b e as good as the previous 2 years. But well have some ok spring snow...can't be much worse than Christmas time.

Mass,PA,NY etc going to get crushed though

They originally thought my mountain was gonna be 70s and raining for the next 2 weeks. Luckily it's only gonna rain for like 3 days and it's not supposed to get as warm as we thought. But our season is shot. Our snowmakers were disconnected over the weekend. 2-3 weeks left

I just found out that my local hill is closing in two weeks despite having a record breaking snowfall 3 weeks ago.

Where I am in Idaho doesn't get near as much snow as we should cause we get lots of heat and are blocked by an earlier mountain range. Places like Targhee, Jackson Hole, all the ski resorts in Utah (Alta, Snowbird) are either 2 hours north of us or 2 hours south of us. They get hammered and we get less than half of what they get on average.

Last day at bmbw (big air dave's home resort) and I sent the big air dave bowl. Got a giant cut in my arm and its bleeding pretty badly but it was 10/10 worth it.

Went last weekend expecting this weekend to be the last. Disappointed I didn't get to try what I wanted to try. Oh well. Let's hope next year is actually cold. #ohioprobs

Not closing for a while. Have a 9'-10' base and the upper mtn just hit 500" on the year. Probably will stay open till memorial day. then Hood is 4 hours away if im really fiending... but id likely just go volcano touring instead.

Doubtful. Most New England resorts will struggle to make it to Easter.

I ski at magic mountain in southern VT. It's right by Stratton and were probably not making it to this weekend haha we've only had like 6 trails open the whole year

Mountain High here in SoCal is temporarily closed. They say they're going to reopen but I'm not so sure that will actually happen.
