Replying to Surface one life mounting
Whats up newschoolers I have recently bought a pair of surface one lifes (basically the outsider) for 80 dollars. They have six edge cracks total underfoot but none are about to pull out and are basically hairline cracks. They are mounted true center with marker griffons. I also have marker griffons and are just gonna throw mine on them. I am going to use them for a powder ski/ park ski. i live in the midwest so when i say powder i mean 8 inches so you are constantly running over rocks. so these would be the perfect beater ski. I would also use them for skiing up north where some more powder is. my question to you guys is "shoud i get them remounted -2 back or should i keep them at center. I work at my rental shop so im gonna take them in and get them tuned up. ptex, base grind, edge bevel and a wax. I would be able to get them mounted for free so it really isnt a big deal. I like to ski switch in powder and just mess around but have no real experience with it. What do you guys think?
