Problems with air'ing out and landing flips

Does anyone have this problem or has anyone had this and over came this problem before?

So when ever i go inverted I always flip fast. The landing is always hard because I'm coming at the landing with a shit ton of spin and flip force and I'm out of control. When ever I backflip it's scary cus I feel out of control and when ever I flip and try to air it out I under rotate. Last week I threw a Misty 7 and was trying to air it out but still hucked it and felt out of control. I landed on my skis but came down on my wrist ........I fractured it but it's not a big deal cus I won't need surgery and I'll be out of a cast with In a couple of weeks. What should I do? Practice airing out stuff on tramp till I get them? Also I've seen jake mullers backflip video and I can never bring my chest out and air it out Like in the video.... Should I stop flipping? I like to flip but usually it ends up with me landing a couple sloppy and then getting moderately hurt. Any responses would be greatly appreciate. +k and lots of love for good answers!! Thanks again!

pop hard on the takeoff and set the spin later in the jump. rushing it will make the flip uncontrolable.

This ^ it helps so much with spins and flips.

Also For me, a later and harder pop than what i think helps for backies

EbolaPractice airing out stuff on tramp till I get them


I learned backflips on trampoline several years before I really ever got into skiing and having them so familiar helped me an insane amount.

Set the spin with your hips. When you huck it with your upper body and you throw your head around to see your landing, you lose all control. If you set with your hips and DONT throw your head around, and just be a little more patient, once you come around you'll be able to see where you are and have the control to either extend and slow down, or to tuck and bring it around fast. If you throw your head and you come around and are going to big or over rotating it, theres nothing you can do to stop.
