Blindsurferthe best rapper right now is probably kanye west or kendrick lamar but my favourite new rappers are asap rocky, young thug, travis scott (mostly because of his production) and drake.

Bodhisattva_We disagreed greatly in my hip-hop thread, but I can get behind this post wholeheartedly. I loved Pro Era when they started but haven't been impressed as of late. I do like that Joey is starting to experiment with different styles. He actually went in hard on a trap beat with G Herbo

Yung_JimmyChance is probably the hottest mainstream rapper rn but Uzi and Yachty are on the come up. And Kevin Gates doesn't get the recognition he deserves either. He's already dropped 2 albums this year with multiple bangers on each.
Bodhisattva_Uzi fuckin sucks, I doubt Yachty will have the longevity to last longer than maybe a couple more banger tapes and a decent debut album. You can only get so far rapping over the same FL Studio beats everyone else is on.
Kevin Gates is tite tho.
