Replying to Paint or Flags?

On jumps which do you prefer? Paint on the corners of the launch and across the knuckle? Or flags on the launch, nothing to mark the landing?

My mountain believes that flags are superior and that "everyone prefers the flags" having just recently switched over from paint which they have stopped using. Yet everyone I've talked with on mountain has said they prefer the paint as it makes spotting your landing so much easier.

Obviously park crew likes having less work to do, but aside from that I don't see any real benefits to park skiers. In fact without someone out there painting full time I imagine they'll be laying off some of the park crew members, while some bigwig upstairs is congratulating themselves on their cost saving measures. If the change is solely because they're cheap, then I wish they would just own up to it, instead of lying to my face.

Which do you prefer?
